As an agricultural product based company in Ireland we are very aware of the need to be environmentally friendly. Knowing Your Producer
Over the years James Nugent & Sons has developed a long standing-relationship with many of our suppliers. The strength of such long-standing relationships helps us deliver an exceptional product and superb value.
Our History
Then, in 1965, he moved the family farm to Dunshaughlin and our final move came in 1972 to Belinstown, Ballyboughal, which has become our permanent home.
Family Ideals
James Thomas Nugent is the founder of James Nugent & Sons, an idea born from the ideals instilled in him by his father.
James Nugent & Sons, as it now exists, was developed on the site of the original family farm. We also maintain 50 acres of farm land alongside our current premises.
The Company has grown from James and his wife Colette with just one peeler and a small van over 27 years ago to a company now employing over forty staff with a fleet of specialised vehicles.

We have both our loyal customers and suppliers to thank for this. They have helped us to create a family legacy that has evolved out of hard work, perseverance and dedication to supplying the best possible product.
Our family tradition of hard work and commitment continues and has made us one of the best prepared vegetable suppliers in the country.
